Effective October 17, 2026. Covers the todayimhigh Bricks Character Creator and 404 Runner.
todayimhigh operates these features at todayimhigh.com. Contact hi@todayimhigh.com for privacy questions or requests.
Runner play is available without optional analytics or public score posting. Photo tools, AI generation, optional analytics, and public nickname scores are for ages 13 and older. Visitors ages 13–17 must have a parent or guardian review this policy and the Terms and give permission. Visitors who select Under 13 are not offered these features. We ask for an age group, not a birthday or government ID. The age choice and permission confirmation are kept in browser session storage; eligible requests include them for validation but our activity records do not retain the age group.
We do not offer a verified parental-consent process for under-13 photo uploads or tracking. If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove information where appropriate.
Choosing a photo or using the camera first processes the image in your browser. The on-device voxel avatar is a customizable illustration and needs no photo. The free block portrait is a local photo effect. These features do not upload photos. Gender guidance, clothing, hairstyle, build, and colors are optional settings; gender is not inferred from photos. AI generation, after your permission, sends the cropped photo to our server and then to OpenAI, together with our style reference, selected gender and clothing guidance, and generation instructions. Photo upload requires selecting the AI studio and giving separate upload consent. Local-only hairstyle, build, and colors are not sent. We use temporary working files to process an AI request and delete our working copy when request cleanup runs. Our app does not intentionally keep a gallery of selfies or generated results. Downloads remain on your device; sharing through your device sends files to the destination you select.
OpenAI handles the data it receives under its API terms and controls. Its retention and safety processing are separate from our app’s temporary-file handling. We do not promise zero retention by the provider. See OpenAI API data controls. We do not use these photo tools to identify people, build face-recognition profiles, or reuse uploaded photos in advertising.
Analytics stays off until an eligible visitor chooses Allow analytics. It records a random browser identifier, browser session identifier, which feature was used, time, referring website host, a broad mobile/desktop category, and events such as visits, photo-tool attempts, completed portraits, downloads, run starts, and run ends. Referring URL paths and query strings are not retained. These are browser estimates, not verified people or real identities. We use this information to understand use and improve the experience.
Identifiers are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. The app stores a hashed version of the browser and session identifiers on the server. A rotating hashed network-address bucket limits event flooding; this analytics feature does not store raw IP addresses. Analytics data is hosted with our website, not sent to an external analytics platform.
Posting is optional and requires eligible age, permission where applicable, and analytics enabled before the run. Your chosen nickname and submitted score become public in the leaderboard. Do not use a real name, email address, phone number, or other personal contact information as a nickname. Our private activity records associate a score with a browser identifier. Scores are casual and unverified, not prize or identity verification.
Activity and score records older than 30 days are removed when the service next handles a request. At most 10,000 recent events are retained, so busy periods can shorten availability. Browser analytics preferences and the random browser ID remain in local storage until you change or clear them; session identifiers and age choices use session storage. Security-related server sessions use necessary cookies. Owner access and rate limits use hashed security records; expired login records are cleaned up on subsequent dashboard access.
Our hosting provider, Namecheap, processes website requests and may keep its own access and security logs, including network addresses and browser information. Those logs are separate from optional analytics. We protect private configuration and activity files outside the public website folder and restrict the owner dashboard. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Open Privacy choices or Scores & privacy to decline or stop optional analytics, or change age eligibility. Stopping analytics stops future collection by this feature; it does not automatically erase older records. You can clear browser storage and request removal of a nickname, score, or identifiable activity record by emailing us. Provide only information reasonably needed to locate the record, such as nickname, page, and approximate date. Do not email your selfie or API keys. We may need to verify a request before acting.
We do not sell activity or photos, use this feature for targeted advertising, or track browsing across unrelated websites. Optional analytics is off unless you choose it, regardless of a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Other parts of todayimhigh.com may have separate practices; this notice covers these two features.
We will update this notice and its effective date when practices change. Material new uses of photos or optional analytics will need a clear notice and any required new permission before they begin.
